Sakshar Bharti Portal launched by the Government

Sakshar Bharat Portal launched with an objective for superior planning, monitoring and impact analysis of Sakshar Bharat Mission being implemented under National Literacy Mission Authority
The portal will also provide information about the scheme and its implementation in States
It will facilitate citizen feedback and correction through public participation and social audit
Sakshar Bharati was launched in 2009 with an aim to enhance the literacy levels in the country specially women, schedule castes and schedule tribes , minorities and other excluded groups in rural areas.
