PRASHAD scheme

The National Mission on Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive or PRASHAD is a centrally sponsored scheme aimed at integrated development of select pilgrimage and heritage destinations across the country. It is completely funded by the Centre. It was launched in 2014-15 by the Union Ministry of Tourism. The foundation stone was recently laid for the development of Maa Bamleshwari Devi Temple in Chhattisgarh under this scheme
