National Digital Health Mission

The National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) is a government entity that seeks to develop an integrated digital health infrastructure in India to bridge the existing gaps within the country’s health sector.

Under this mission, all Indians will receive health IDs that will store individual’s medical records like doctor visits, diseases, treatment, drugs etc. This will enable the creation of a national health registry and ensure better health response in the future. Nearly 11.9 lakh health IDs have been registered so far under NDHM. In addition, around 3,000 doctors and more than a thousand facilities have been registered in this platform.
