MSME Ministry Iconic Week

As a part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is celebrating its iconic week, from February 28, 2022 to March 6, 2022.

Key Facts

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
As part of the celebrations, Ministry of MSME has planned a series of commemorative events and activities.

Phase II of Sambhav

During the iconic week, Ministry will launch Phase II of ‘National Level Awareness Programme – Sambhav’.
From February 28, 2022 to March 31, 2022, more than one lakh students from 1300 colleges in India will be motivated to take up entrepreneurship.
Participants from various colleges will be encouraged by field offices of Ministry, by means of webinar to take up entrepreneurship.
As a part of it, students will also be educated on schemes implemented by Ministry, in order to support entrepreneurs through Audio or video films or presentations.

Entrepreneurship Promotion Drive

During the iconic week, Ministry of MSME will also launch an Entrepreneurship Promotion Drive across 46 aspirational districts in 9 states of India, with the objective of spreading awareness amongst people regarding the benefits of schemes implemented by Ministry to develop entrepreneurship culture.

Laghu Udyog Samachar

During the iconic week, Ministry of MSME will bring out a special issue of Laghu Udyog Samachar. It will cover various programmes, schemes, events and opinions on MSME sector. It will cover 75 success stories of entrepreneurs.

MSME Expedition

Ministry of MSME will also organise MSME Expedition, in a bid to create awareness among people about MSME schemes. This Expedition will be conducted through roadways with the purpose of educating people regarding the benefits of entrepreneurship and initiatives of Ministry of MSME.

Mega International Conference

Ministry of MSME will also organise Mega International Conference on March 4 and 5, 2022 at New Delhi on Plastic Waste Management. It will be attended by prominent experts on subject from across the world. It will benefit more than 300 MSME units from this sector.
