MoU signed to organize “National Organic Festival of Women Entrepreneurs”
A Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) and the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) to organize the “National Organic Festival of Women Entrepreneurs”.
The event will be planned and organized by the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) located in Kundli, Sonepat, Haryana. NIFTEM is an academic institute for education and research under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries of Government of India.
The aim of the festival will be to encourage Indian women farmers and entrepreneurs who are in the business of organic farming, by connecting them with the widest range of buyers which will empower them through financial inclusions, also the festival will promote organic food and its production in the country.
