Iranian Revolution

The Iranian Revolution was a series of events that led to the ousting of the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the establishment of an Islamic Republic under Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. It took place between 7th January 1976 and 11th February 1979. Recently, Iran commemorated this revolution. During this occasion, Iranians paraded in vehicles in a bid to maintain social distancing. The annual event also saw the display of ballistic missiles in defiance of the West.
