International Security Alliance

The International Security Alliance (ISA) was established in February 2017 for combating organized and transnational crimes. The alliance headquartered at Abu Dhabi, UAE is an international collaboration of Ministries of Interior and working groups working together to combat organized and transnational crime.

The members of the alliance are:

  • United Arab Emirates
  • French Republic
  • Kingdom of Bahrain
  • Kingdom of Morocco
  • Italian Republic
  • Republic of Senegal
  • Republic of Singapore
  • Kingdom of Spain
  • The Slovak Republic
Objectives of the Alliance:

The alliance aims to promote internal security cooperation among its member ministers with regards to following priorities:

  • Preventing and combating transnational organized crime.
  • Preventing and combating forms of radicalisation and violent extremism.
  • Management of borders.

The first joint security exercise of ISA, ISALEX19 is being held at Abu Dhabi, UAE. The exercise is aimed at simulate a real-life security threat in a virtual context, to test the readiness of the different teams and to evaluate the tools, strategies and procedures developed jointly between member countries.
