International Kite Festival 2023

The International Kite Festival 2023 officially started on January 7th in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with a theme centered around the G20 countries. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the event, which runs from January 8th to 14th and marks the first time the festival has been held in two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the inauguration, Chief Minister Patel praised the progress made by India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, specifically citing the country’s strengthening defense system and digital economy which have helped it become the 5th largest economy in the world.
