Google to open a Delhi cloud region

Technology Major Google recently announced that it would open a Delhi cloud region. It will be the company’s second region in India after the Mumbai cloud region which was launched in 2017.

This region, which is estimated to be launched in 2021, would be the eighth network of Google in the Asia Pacific region and 22nd globally. The Google cloud regions provide Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to global organisations and assist them to deliver cloud-based services to their users around the world.
