First ‘Innovation Festival’ of Arunachal Pradesh conducted in Itanagar

The first-ever ‘Innovation Festival’ in the state of Arunachal Pradesh was organised on the 25th and 26th January with a partnership with the National Innovation Foundation, India at the Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre located in I.G Park in Itanagar. The State Council for Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology of the State Government of Arunachal Pradesh organised the two-day long festival. Inspire Awards- Manak state-level event was also organised as a part of the festival in which students from across the state participated with their projects.

The two-day programme comprised of interaction and technical sessions, discussion among the innovators and lectures organised for motivating the young and upcoming innovators. Nearly 50 innovations are exhibited by students and entrepreneurs of the state and its neighbouring states. The festival was held with an objective of promoting innovation among the people of the state. In future, similar events are planned to be organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Science and technology Council at different parts across the state.
