Discuss the meaning of the Civil Liabilities (Contribution) Act, 1978.

The civil liabilities (contribution) act, 1978 has made the law clear and definite. Section  2 (1) of the act provides that the amount recoverable as damages will be such which the court thinks just keeping in view the loss caused by the person. Section 3 of the act provides that when judgment is recovered against any tort-feasor, it shall not be a bar to an action against any other person who would, if sued have been liable as a joint tort-feasor.
