Customs Department to launch pan-India faceless assessment for all imported goods soon

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs stated that, by 31st October this year, the Customs Department will roll out pan-India faceless assessment for all imported goods. The faceless assessment will be at an all-India level in all ports of import and for all imported goods by October 31.

Delhi government starts 10-week anti-dengue campaign

On 6th September, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal initiated the “10 Hafte 10 Baje 10 Minute campaign. Under this campaign, the citizens are directed to take 10 minutes every Sunday for 10 weeks to inspect their house for any signs of stagnant water and drain it so as to prevent mosquito breeding.

India, Iran may adopt regional approach model to stabilize Afghanistan

During Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Tehran, both countries have explored revival of regional approach model involving India-Iran to stabilise Afghanistan as US plans to exist Kabul and give Taliban a stake in governance.
