Nitish Kumar appointed as Chief Minister of Bihar

On November 16, 2020, Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Biahr by Governor Phagu Chauhan. The 69-year-old CM had continuously run as CM of Bihar since 2005. Only between 2014-15, Jitan am Manjhi was the CM.

November 16: International Day for Tolerance

On November 16, 2020, the International Day for Tolerance was observed. The 2020 UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Promotion of Tolerance and Non-Violence was awarded to Centre Résolution Conflits (CRC) from the Democratic Republic in Congo. The prize was awarded for the rescue of child soldiers from militia groups.

Crew 1 Mission: SpaceX, NASA send 4 astronauts to International Space Station

Four astronauts were launched on a SpaceX rocket to the International Space Station. On November 15, 2020, the Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida
