Saudi Arabia’s Aramco has suspended a deal to build $10 billion refining and petrochemical complex in China. The suspension of the investment in China’ Northeastern province of Liaoning is because of uncertain market outlook caused by oil price crash and demand decline.

First India-Uzbekistan National Coordination Committee meeting held virtually

The Minister of States for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan and Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Foreign Economic Relations Sardor Umurzakov co-chaired the first India-Uzbekistan National Coordination Committee meeting that was held virtually. The discussions were on Line of Credit project, bilateral trade and investment.

500-bed COVID-19 Makeshift Hospitals to be set up in Bihar under PM CARES Fund Trust

Funds will be allocated from PM CARES Fund Trust for the establishment of 500-bed COVID-19 Makeshift Hospitals at Patna and Muzaffarpur districts in Bihar. These facilities will be developed by the DRDO, with increased focus on fortification with modern amenities and infrastructure.
