Dr. K K Aggarwal has been elected as the National President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) for the year 2016-17. Currently, he is the Secretary General of the doctors association. Beside this, Dr Ravi Wankhedkar from Maharashtra will be the National President for the year 2017-18 and Dr. R N Tandon will take over as Honorary Secretary General. The new team will take over on December 28, 2016 in Amritsar. The IMA is the only representative, national voluntary organisation of doctors of modern scientific system of medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the well-being of the community at large.
