Lt Gen Vinod Vashisht is the newly appointed Director General of National Cadet Corps (NCC). Prior to this appointment, he was the Commandant at Officers Training Academy at Gaya, Bihar. He succeeded Lt Gen A Chakravarty, who retired on August 31, 2016.
