K.G. George, the famous film director, has won the prestigious 2015 J.C. Daniel Award for his outstanding contribution to the Malayalam film industry. He is noted for the deep psychological analysis and character study of the human mind in his films. The award carries a purse of Rs.1 lakh and a citation and will be given by the State government in the State Film Awards at Palakkad, Kerala.
