Najma Heptullah
Najma Heptullah, the former Union Minister for Minority Affairs, has been appointed as the new Governor of Manipur. She will succeed V Shanmuganathan, Governor of Meghalaya, who was holding additional charge as Manipur Governor since September 2015.
