Geetu Mohandas
Malayalam actress and film director, Geetu Mohandas from India has won the 2016 Global Filmmaking award at the Sundance Film Festival 2016 for the script of her upcoming film ‘Insha Allah’. The film is about a boy from Lakshadweep searching for his brother, is an adventure drama. The award is a recognition and support from Sundance for independent filmmakers from across the globe.
