Punjab Warriors
The Jaypee Punjab Warriors has won the 4th edition of 2016 Coal India Hockey India League (HIL) title at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand. It is their first title. They defeated Kalinga Lancers by 6-1 in the finals. In the league, Player of the Tournament (Rupinder Pal Singh of Delhi Waveriders), Man of the Match (Mark Knowles of the Punjab Warriors), Goal of the Match and Emerging Player of the Match (Armaan Qureshi of the Punjab Warriors), etc.
