Which state is the site for Malabar river festival, touted as Asia’s biggest white water competition?

Malabar River Festival, touted as Asia’s biggest white water competition is an initiative of Department of Tourism under the aegis of Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society (KATPS) in association with District Tourism Promotion Council and Madras Fun Tools. The festival aim is to promote the sport of whitewater Kayaking in South India and display the incredible, unexplored rivers that Kerala has to offer the international paddling community. The first edition of the Malabar River Festival, held in August 2013 was a smashing success. The third edition of the 2015 Malabar River Festival scheduled to start on July 23 at Thusharagiri in Kerala.
