The state government of Haryana passed Haryana Police (Amendment) Bill, 2015 to abolish the Police Recruitment Board in order to end the nepotism in the police recruitments in the state.As per this bill, Gazetted posts in the police service would be filled through Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) and Direct recruitment to various non-gazetted ranks in the police service would be filled through the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC).
