[A]Kandla Port Trust
[B]Paradip Port

[D]Jawaharlal Nehru Port

Jawaharlal Nehru Port
The Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) has become the first port in India to implement the logistics data bank tagging of containers. It is first of its kind facility, which will help importers/exporters to track their goods in transit through logistics data bank service. The facility would be operated by a Radio Frequency Identification Tag (RFID), which will be attached to each container and will be tracked through RIFD readers installed at different locations. This would help in reducing the overall lead time of the container movement across the western corridor and lower the transaction costs incurred by shippers and consignees. The JNPT is located at Nhava Sheva in Raigad District, Maharashtra.
