The 19th edition of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit 2016 will be held in Islamabad Pakistan on November 9 and 10. The leaders of SAARC member states and 9 observers countries will attend the summit. To successfully hold the summit, a SAARC Summit Cell has recently constituted by the Pakistan government. The SAARC Summit Cell will closely work with all stakeholders and concerned authorities in Pakistan and is headed by Ambassador Amjad Sial, who is a senior diplomat and Pakistan’s nominee for the next SAARC Secretary General.
