The West Indies has won the 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup title by defeating three time champion India in Mirpur, Bangladesh. This is the first time West Indies won the title. The Man of the match award was presented to Keacy Carty (West Indies). Bangladesh’s captain Mehedi Hasan has been named player of the tournament. England’s Jack Burnham and Namibia’s Fritz Coetzee led the tournament in runs and wickets, respectively.
