Integration of India
The National Unity Day (or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) is observed every year in India on October 31 to mark the occasion of the birth anniversary of Independent India’s first Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhai Patel. The 2016 theme is “Integration of India”. The day would provide an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country.
