The 2016 International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is observed every year on November 25 to raise public awareness of violence against women. The 2016 theme is “Orange the World – raise funds to end violence against women” in which orange colour designated the UNiTE campaign to symbolize a brighter future without violence.
