Addressing challenges, achieving prosperity
The 6th Heart of Asia (HoA) ministerial conference has started at Amritsar in Punjab on December 42016 with focus on tackling terror in region. The conference will discuss peace, cooperation and economic development in Afghanistan. The main conference has been inaugurated jointly by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will lead the Indian delegation. The delegates from nearly 40 countries will participate in the conference including India, China, Russia, Iran and Pakistan and representatives of 17 supporting nations were deliberating on a vast range of issues facing the region.The theme of the conference is “Addressing Challenges, Achieving Prosperity”.
