Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the national SC/ST hub and zero effect on environment scheme for MSME sector in Ludhiana, Punjab on October 18, 2016. This hub has been set up under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation scheme to provide support to entrepreneurs from the SC/ST community. He will also present national MSME awards to 225 industrialists and will also distribute 150 spinning wheels to the women of weaker sections to make them able to earn their livelihood.
