The International Conference and Exhibition on “Sugarcane Value Chain – Vision 2025 Sugar” has been inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Manjari near Pune on November 13, 2016. It is organised by Vasantdada Sugar Institute (VSI). Around 1,500 delegates are expected to participate in this conference from across the globe.The VSI is an autonomous body established in 1975 by cane growers of co-operative sugar mills in Maharashtra with support of State and Central government.
