The 2016 Youth Voters’ Festival will be held in Nagaland from September 5 to 9, 2016. The 5-day festival will be held under the directives of the Election Commission of India (ECI). The purpose of the festival is to increase the electoral participation through voter registration and turnout to increase the qualitative participation in terms of ethical and informed voting and to provide a continuous electoral and democracy education to the people.
