The 13th edition of World Robot Olympiad (WRO) will be held in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The theme for the competition is “Rap the Scrap”, where students would showcase solutions to reduce, manage and recycle waste using robotics technology. Over 2,000 participants from 55 countries are taking part in the international championship. The WRO is an annual robotics competition for students where participants will be presenting ideas on problem solving through the use of robots. The competition is being organized jointly by the India STEM Foundation and the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) under the Ministry of Culture.
