The 2016 SAARC Home Ministers’ conference will be held in Islamabad, Pakistan. The focus of the conference is on strengthening networking among police authorities of SAARC member-countries and increasing information-sharing among law enforcement agencies. It also focus on issues of a coordinated fight against terrorism, illegal trafficking in narcotic drugs and small arms. From India, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the conference.
