Nassau
The 2016 International Civil Aviation Negotiations (ICAN) was recently held in Nassau, Bahamas from 5th to 9th December, 2016. During ICAN 2016, India signed Open Skies agreement with 6 countries viz. Jamaica, Guyana, Czech Republic, Finland, Spain and Sri Lanka.With this agreement, India will allow unlimited number of flights to 6 metro airports namely Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Chennai. The new arrangement will encourage connectivity and passenger travel between India and these countries.
