The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch “Pratham” a microsatellite developed by the students of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) into space from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The 10 kg satellite will be launched by ISRO’s four-stage Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) to measure the total electron count of the ionosphere.
