The Andhra Pradesh Government has recently launched a new health scheme “NTR Arogya Raksha” in Vijayawada to offer medical insurance to those who were not covered under any of the existing health schemes of the state government. The health scheme will provide the medical treatment to the people below Above Poverty Line (APL) at Rs.1200 premium per annum. Under it, Rs.2 lakh worth medical treatment would be provided free of cost in any 432 corporate hospitals in the state.
