NITI Aayog has recently partnered with which technical giant to set up Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) in India?
The NITI Aayog has recently signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) with Intel India to set up 10 Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATLs) in India to promote curiosity, creativity and imagination among young innovators. The ATL initiative is a part of the government’s flagship programme “Atal Innovation Mission (AIM)”. The purpose of the ATL is to build relevant skill sets among youngsters and to provide access to technology that will help to create solutions for social impact. These laboratories intend to impact 250,000 youth with innovation skills & skills for the future across 500 communities & schools. As part of the initiative, Intel India will facilitate ideation, design thinking and prototyping workshops through industry experts and co-lead an innovation festival.
