The 17th anniversary Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated in India on July 26, 2016 to mark the success of Operation Vijay and in honour of the Kargil War’s Heroes. Every year, on this day, the Prime Minister of India pays homage to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate, New Delhi.
