Devendra Jhajharia has clinched gold in the men’s javelin throw F46 event at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. This is the 2nd paralympic gold that Jhajharia has won. Previously, he had won gold at the 2004 Athens Paralympics with a throw of 62.15 metres with which he set a world record. With this, he is the first Indian to win two Paralympic gold medals.
