The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) is an Indian governmental commission, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Women & Child Development. Its present chairman is Stuti Narain Kacker. Recently, NCPCR is in news because for the first time it is organizing an All India Short Film, Still Photograph and Poster Competition for promotion of child rights in the country. The first prize for short films is Rs.100, 000 and second & third prize carry cash award of Rs. 75,000 & Rs.50,000 respectively. The cash award for the First, Second and Third prize in Still Photograph and Poster competition category are: Rs.50,000, Rs.30,000 and Rs.20,000. There is no entry fee for this competition.
