Gymnastics
The 2016 Dronacharya Award will be conferred on 6 coaches viz. Dipa Karmakar’s coach, Bishweshwar Nandi (Gymnastics), India Test team captain Virat Kohli’s mentor Raj Kumar Sharma (Cricket), Nagapuri Ramesh (Athletics), Sagar Mal Dhayal (Boxing), S. Pradeep Kumar (swimming) and Mahabir Singh (wrestling). Beside this, 15 sportspersons will be honoured with the Arjuna Award and 3 with the Dhyan Chand Award. The awards will be distributed by President Pranab Mukherjee on August 29, 2016.
