Notes: Black soil is found in largest part of the land (47%),which spreads through malwa plateau Narmada-Sane vally and Satpura-Maikal range. This is found in complete eastern part of Bahelkhand under which come Mandla,Balaghat and Shahdol districts.This soil is 37% of the total soil of M.P. Laterite soil which forms 3% of the total soil is concentrated in Bhind, Morena,Sheopur, Gwalior and Shivpuri districts. Flood soil particles run off with rivers water and their deposition results into formation of alluvial soils.It is mailny concentrated mainly in Bhind, Morena,Sheopur, Gwalior and Shivpuri districts.
