Notes: After the death of Mahmud Gawan ( vakil-us-sultanate in the Bahmani Kingdom) factionism increased among the Bahmani  sardars. From there onwards, Bahmani power began to decline. This led to disintegration of the Kingdom into five small powers  viz. Imadshahi of Varhad, Nizamshahi of Ahmednagar, Baridshahi of Bidar, Adilshahi of Bijapur and Qutubshahi of Golconda.
