Answer: Tamil Nadu
Notes: The India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) is a particle physics research project that is under construction in Theni, Tamil Nadu. The INO will study atmospheric neutrinos in a 1,200 meter (3,900 ft) deep cave under INO Peak. The INO is located in the Bodi West Hills region of the Theni district, about 110 kilometers west of Madurai.  The INO is a multi-institutional effort to build a world-class underground laboratory. The Tamil Nadu government has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court disallowing the construction of the INO. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M.K.
