Railways to step-up limit for e-Ticket bookings

The Indian Railways have adjudicated to step-up the limit for online bookings per day from 3.5 lakhs to about 5 lakhs in the next four months and later to 8 lakhs. Both IRCTC and CRIS along with Railways IT wing are working jointly in this direction.

• This has been done in view of enhanced demand for rail e-Tickets.
