World Future Energy Summit begins in Abu Dhabi

With 33,500 participants from 170 countries, the 2020 edition of the World Future Energy Summit begins in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abu Dhabi on Monday, 13th January 2020.

The four-day annual Summit is the largest future energy and Sustainability event in the Middle East, which is dedicated to advancing future energy, clean technologies, and energy efficiency. The summit was started back in 2011 has attracted world leaders, gained the attention of international policymakers and several industry leaders, academia, etc from across the globe. 1,402 applications from 128 countries related to innovations in the fields of sustainability in space and future of energy, agriculture & food were received, out of which 42 were chosen to showcase in the special event of the summit: World’s most Disruptive Innovations.

The theme of 2020 Summit: Rethinking Global Consumption, Production, and Investment

The CLIX: Climate Innovations Exchange and Future Sustainability Summit will also be held alongside the renewable energy company of Abu Dhabi, Masdar hosted World Future Energy Summit 2020.
