World Bank sanctions Rs 3,000 crore aid for food parks in India

The World Bank (WB)  will provide Rs 3,000 crore assistance to finance, mini and mega food parks across the country. This move will help boost farmers’ income. This information was revealed by the Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Rameswar Teli during the  15th Indo-US Economic Summit. The summit was organized by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce-North India Council (IACC-NIC) in New Delhi on 13th September.
