RBI to issue new 20 Rupees denomination Banknotes

The Reserve Bank of India is all set to issue new ?20 denomination banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series. The new note bears the signature of Shri Shaktikanta Das, Governor of RBI. The ?20 note is greenish-yellow in colour and has a motif of Ellora Caves on the reverse, depicting the country’s cultural heritage. The note has other designs, geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverse. The dimension of the new ?20 note will be 63 mm x 129 mm.
