Prime Minister invites citizens to share ideas and suggestions for Union Budget

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, has asked all citizens of the country to share their ideas and suggestions for the Union Budget 2019-20 that is scheduled to be presented by the Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman on 1st February 2020.

For submitting their ideas and suggestions, any citizen of India can visit ‘MyGov forum’ section on ‘www.mygov.in’ and has to log in to the portal to submit their ideas and suggestions, if a user does not have an account on the portal, they can Register themselves simply by entering their Name, Email address, Mobile number, and D.O.B. The last date to share ideas and suggestions is on 20th January 2020. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘MyGov forum’ back in July 2014 for a healthy exchange of ideas and views with the citizens of the country and experts for better policymaking. To achieve a $5 trillion economy by 2025, the Finance Minister last week has unveiled a plan under which Rs 102 lakh crore will be invested in infrastructure in the next five years and tax concessions for individuals are expected to be announced in this year’s Union Budget.
