Indian hockey player Balbir Singh Kullar passes away

Former Indian hockey player Balbir Singh Kullar, who was a part of the Olympics bronze-winning team, recently passed away at the age of 77.

The Punjab-based player was a recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri and Arjuna award for his contribution towards Hockey. Balbir Singh was also part of the gold medal winning Indian team in 1966 Bangkok Asian Games.
